  • Relieve a choking episode in adult and pediatric patients

  • Bleeding Control/Shock Management 

  • Spinal Immobilization

  • Joint Immobilization 

  • Long Bone Immobilization

Specialties 

CARDIAC ARREST

  • Initiate the chain of survival as soon as a possible problem is identified- call 911

  • Initiate immediate high-quality chest compressions for any victim

  • AED - Provide early defibrillation with an automated external defibrillator when one is available

  • Initiate rescue breathing when respiration is inadequate

OTHER POTENTIAL LIFE THREATENING SITUATIONS

  • Identify allergic reactions and proceed accordingly

  • Evaluate and treat burns

  • Temperature related illness

  • Drowning

  • Glucose monitoring and treat accordingly

  • Recognize stroke symptoms and initiate 911

  • Recognize seizure symptoms and initiate 911
